The poor weather conditions presented challenges for both sides, although Enzo Maresca's side failed to capitalise on any of their five attempts on target. Nicolas Jackson was denied by both Jordan Pickford and the post in the first half at Goodison Park, while the hosts also created a handful of chances themselves.
The draw means Chelsea have failed to move ahead of title rivals Liverpool in the standings with the Merseyside club set to take on Tottenham Hotspur later this afternoon. Arne Slot's side remain a point clear and could extend that to four with a win in north London.
With that being said, football.london takes a look at the upcoming fixtures for Chelsea and their title rivals...

Verdict
Chelsea have a pretty favourable run of games over Christmas and in the New Year, although they will be wary of Fulham after Marco Silva's side took points off Liverpool at Anfield earlier this month. Bournemouth, too, have caused top sides problems this season.
The January clash against League Two side Morecambe next month will also provide Maresca with an opportunity to rotate his team and provide an opportunity to young players, as he has done in the UEFA Europa Conference League this term. The quick turnaround between matches could be a challenge, but its one every team faces at this time of year.
