It's clear that there is a lot to admire and now Fabrizio Romano himself has confirmed on his YouTube channel that Liverpool are indeed interested in Cherki.

"On Liverpool are there concrete negotiations?" Romano said. "It's not something that's advanced. Interest? Yes. Liverpool know the player very well. Liverpool are more interested in the player in the sense that they are sending their scouts to see the progress of Cherki.

"We all know the big talent of the player but Liverpool want to see consistency in a player so that's why are constantly checking on Cherki."

This is definitely an exciting update from the transfer expert and one that has pretty much confirmed the reports that have been surfacing about Liverpool's interest in Cherki.
