It’s been a difficult couple of weeks for the Arsenal manager, whose side’s title hopes continue to hang by a thread.
The victory over Spurs keeps them alive - just about - but Arsenal fans and players alike appear to be urging the Gunners to splash the cash this month.
Declan Rice said he “wouldn’t be surprised” if Arsenal added a body or two between now and deadline day, as speculation surrounding the capital club’s transfer dealings continues to heat up.
RB Leipzig stance on Benjamin Sesko transfer
One of the big-name players linked to an Emirates Stadium switch in January is Benjamin Sesko.
The striker was touted as a potential transfer target for Arsenal in the summer but opted to stick around in Germany instead.
They might regret not pushing harder for Sesko in the summer, considering RB Leipzig are reportedly unwilling to enter talks with Arsenal about a deal this month, as per TBR.

Bayern Munich pushing for Martin Zubimendi
Arsenal’s pursuit of Martin Zubimendi might’ve hit a roadblock, with Bayern Munich continuing to push hard for the midfielder.
That’s according to Sky Germany, who state the Bavarian outfit aren’t giving up on signing Zubimendi, after it had been reported earlier this week he was on the verge of joining Arsenal.
It’s stated Bayern are still keen on Zubimendi because of the uncertainty surrounding the future of Joshua Kimmich, who is out of contract at the end of the campaign.
When quizzed on his future, Kimmich replied: “Of course there are a lot of good reasons for that [not signing a new deal]. It’s a fundamental decision for me.”
