The match with the Reds at Villa Park was recently rescheduled for TV broadcast and is now due to take place Saturday, March 15, with the encounter now getting underway at 12.30pm, live on TNT Sports.
However, the visit of Arne Slot's side is subject to possible movement to 8pm, remaining live on TNT Sports, should either club be scheduled to play away in the Champions League the preceding Wednesday.
Lucas Bergvall gave Spurs a narrow advantage to take to Anfield, with the second leg set to take place on Thursday, February 6. That's just three days before Villa then host Tottenham in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday, February 9.
If Liverpool beat Tottenham in the Carabao Cup semi-final, then Villa will only play one Premier League match in the month of March against Brentford on the 8th, which has been selected for TV. The trip to the Gtech Community Stadium comes between the Champions League round of 16 home and away legs and will kick off at 5:30pm on Sky Sports.
Villa could either play six matches in all competitions in March or only one, depending on their progress in the FA Cup and the Champions League, plus Liverpool's ability to beat Spurs in the Carabao Cup.
If Villa beat Spurs in the FA Cup next month, then they will play in the fifth round on the weekend of Saturday, March 1. The quarter-finals are scheduled for Saturday, March 29.
