The Merseyside club are flying on the pitch as the Reds are currently top of the Premier League and Champions League tables, while still in contention to win both domestic cups.

A quadruple is unlikely admits Liverpool legend Steve Nicol, but many Reds fans would simply be happy with adding another Premier League title to the trophy cabinet at Anfield.
One thing that could disrupt this, is the contract situations of Liverpool’s biggest stars as Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk are all currently leaving the Reds at the end of the season.
Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has stated that he can help in this situation, however, the longer it goes on, the more likely the outcome will be bad for the Merseyside club as Real Madrid have been heavily linked to Alexander-Arnold, while Saudi Arabia have an eye on Salah.
With every dream still on the table for Arne Slot’s squad this season, Salah has addressed this and has stated that he and Virgil van Dijk need to achieve one more thing at Anfield before they go.

Mohamed Salah wants another Premier League trophy at Liverpool
Salah has been in sensational form this season and has contributed massively to Liverpool’s Premier League dreams having produced 18 goals and 13 assists across the 21 games the Reds have played.
Luis Garcia feels Salah should be a Ballon d’Or candidate as a result, but that is not the only thing the 32-year-old would like to achieve this year.
Speaking in the official Liverpool matchday programme ahead of the Reds’ clash with Ipswich Town on Saturday, Salah has admitted that he believes that he needs to win another league title, alongside Van Dijk and the others that remain from the 2019/20 squad.
“My motivation this year was really to win a trophy and be a big part of winning that trophy, especially the Premier League,” the winger said. “I still believe that the team needs another trophy because almost half of the team that had been here when we won it has left.
“There is still me, Virgil, Trent, Ali, Joe and Robbo, so it’s five or six players left (from 2019/2020). So I think it’s necessary to win another trophy before we all go.
“I think we need another one. We won almost everything but we won it (the Premier League) only once so hopefully we can win it twice. It would be great.”
Liverpool crushed the competition on their way to the 2020 Premier League title but with the COVID pandemic disrupting the campaign, the squad never got to celebrate their achievement the way they would have liked.
Liverpool’s 2019/2020 Premier League-winning season
Liverpool won the 2020 title with an incredible 99 points, 18 more than second-placed Manchester City, who would have been viewed as the favourites that season.
Jurgen Klopp’s men were machines throughout the campaign having been motivated by winning the Champions League the year prior, which resulted in the Reds claiming victory in 32 out of 38 matches.
It ended a 30-year wait for the English league title to return to Anfield but with the COVID pandemic affecting so many lives around the world, Klopp’s Liverpool squad were restricted in their celebrations.
Salah tells Liverpool’s official matchday programme that this “definitely” motivates him to win a second Premier League medal this year and that he is “really, really motivated” to deliver it to the Anfield faithful.
