CONFIRMED LINE-UP:Odegaard and Havertz dropped, Sterling starts: 4-3-3 Predicted line-up vs Man United

There are some interesting head-to-head facts when it comes to a classic FA Cup tie between Arsenal and Manchester United.

United have eliminated the Gunners from the FA Cup more than any other side in the competition’s history (8), while Arsenal have knocked out the Red Devils more than any other team (7).
This is the 16th different FA Cup tie (excluding replays/second legs) between these two sides, the second most in the competition’s history after Everton vs Liverpool (19).

Regarding the line-up decisions, Timber cannot be overused due to his flimsy injury record and the fact that he is the only right-back available. In midfield, Odegaard doesnt appear to be fully fit after his injury woes and the recent illness.

Thus, starting Jorginho – who can deliver key passes – would be a better move for now.

In attack, Havertz is another recently ill player who doesn’t look sharp enough and therefore, Jesus will need to come in for him. With that said, Trossard’s flat recent performances must hand someone else – like Sterling – a chance to give the team a different option.

PREDICTED TEAM

Raya

Califiori – Saliba – Gabriel – Lewis-Skelly

Partey – Jorginho – Rice

Sterling – Jesus – Martinelli
