Federico Chiesa is ‘hugely frustrated’ at Liverpool
Arne Slot is open to the idea of letting Federico Chiesa leave Liverpool in January, sources have told TBR Football’s chief correspondent Graeme Bailey.
The Dutch manager likes Chisea, however, he is understanding of his situation and if he is unhappy, he is ready to let him return to Serie A.
Sources have told TBR Football that whilst the 27-year-old realises the players ahead of him cannot be dropped, he is still hugely frustrated at his lack of game time. Subsequently, his people have approached Liverpool with the idea of him moving back to Italy.

There is a large amount of interest from his home country with Napoli, Roma, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Atalanta and Fiorentina all keen to take him if Liverpool agree to a loan.
If that is the case, TBR Football can report that the Reds would want the vast majority of his wages covered and they won’t just let him go for free.
What has gone wrong for Federico Chiesa at Liverpool?
Chiesa arrived at Anfield with much excitement surrounding his signing, however, there was one key doubt over his fitness. The winger has suffered two major injuries during his career which has thrown him off course and which ultimately saw Juventus happy to offload him.
Now, those concerns have come to fruition with Chiesa struggling to regain the form which has seen him become one of Italy’s biggest stars. At Liverpool, he is competing with some of the Premier League’s biggest stars in Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Cody Gakpo.
