Indeed, Arsenal continue to turn down dead ends as they look for a new forward.
Meanwhile, Alexander Isak is a £200m player in the eyes of some, so Arsenal may have to move on from that idea too, despite the fact Isak is their dream target.
Victor Osimhen has been linked to Arsenal too recently, and according to Steve Kay, speaking on KS1 TV, Osimhen would come to Arsenal if the Gunners were keen.
However, the journalist says that Arsenal aren’t actually that keen on Osimhen and Mikel Arteta has never been sold on that deal.

Victor Osimhen would happily join Arsenal
Kay shared what he knows about Osimhen.
The journalist says that the £50m man would join Arsenal if they wanted him, but, as of right now, there’s no suggestion that Arsenal are keen on the Nigerian.
“This is one, he’s not one Arsenal have really gone for in past windows. He was spoken about having an attitude problem kind of like Ivan Toney, and Arteta has never really gone for him.
“If Arsenal want him, he will come, it’s just whether Arteta can get the right deal for him, a six-month loan with an option to come and prove yourself. It doesn’t look like Arsenal can get their main guys, Gyokeres, Sesko, Isak.”
“But he’s never someone I’ve heard Arsenal have been looking deeply into, never.”
Osimhen compared to other Arsenal targets
Victor Osimhen isn’t someone Arsenal appear to be all that keen on this month, but it’s hard to understand why Arsenal aren’t exploring this move.
As Kay says, Osimhen would join Arsenal if the Gunners wanted him, and, based on his numbers this season, he should be a player Arsenal are after.

Osimhen’s statistics are up there with the best of them, and while he is playing in the Turkish Super Lig right now, his stats in Serie A also stack up well.
