JUST NOW: Stan Kroenke is now 'extremely unlikely' to allow Mikel Arteta to sign 'unbelievable' player for Arsenal

It is no secret that Arsenal are big fans of Newcastle United star Alexander Isak.

The Sweden international is one of the best strikers in the world. He has been unbelievable this season and has been attracting a ton of interest.
Arsenal really like Isak, but a move in the January transfer window is nearly impossible. However, fans are hoping that Mikel Arteta will break the bank for him in the summer.

Sadly for them, there’s some bad news on that front.

Stan Kroenke is ‘unlikely’ to sanction Arsenal move for Alexander Isak
Isak is the perfect striker for Arsenal.

The Swede, hailed as ‘unbelievable’ by Paul Merson on Sky Sports, is a complete player. He is excellent on the ball, can link play up really well and has the ability to run in behind the opposition defence.

His finishing with both feet is outstanding as well and his numbers this season prove it. He has scored twice against Arsenal already.

That is why Arsenal would love to sign Isak, but the Daily Mail have now claimed that the Gunners will not be able to afford him in the summer.

It has been revealed that ‘Stan Kroenke is extremely unlikely to sanction a move’ for the Newcastle United star, who will cost more than £115 million.

The report adds that sources close to Arsenal have ‘played down’ rumours that the North London giants will make a move for Isak this summer.

In what is good news for Newcastle fans, it is claimed that the chances of Isak staying at St James’ Park are ‘increasing by the day’ because Arsenal can’t afford him.

Three strikers Arsenal should target if they can’t get Isak
Isak would be the dream signing for every Arsenal fan.

But, Newcastle’s demands could prove to be too much for Arteta’s side and they will have no choice but to look elsewhere.

Thankfully for them, there are a few other strikers they can target in the summer – all of them will be significantly cheaper than Isak as well.

One of them is Benjamin Sesko, who Arsenal tried to sign last year. He is expected to leave Leipzig in the summer window and he would be great for the Londoners.

Reports have claimed that if Sesko snubs Arteta again, Arsenal will go for Viktor Gyokeres. He would be a fantastic signing for the Gunners as well.

Finally, if neither materialises, Arsenal should just splash the cash and get Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus. Arteta has liked him for years, and we think he will do well at the Emirates.
