There's Ben Doak playing down in the Championship with Middlesbrough, too. He arrived from Celtic not too long ago.
Trey Nyoni is another bright prospect signed from the English game. He's now on the brink of the first-team having previously been a brilliant talent at Leeds United.
Not that Liverpool don't have their truly homegrown talents - Trent Alexander-Arnold and Curtis Jones sit in the first-team setup, with Jayden Danns on his way - but they'll always want the brightest from these parts. Harvey Elliott is arguably the best example of that working out.

Liverpool target Ryan Oné
Rousing The Kop reports that Liverpool are looking into signing Sheffield United talent Ryan Oné. Oné has broken through with the Blades this season, drawing interest from all over Europe.
But Liverpool have apparently been keeping tabs on Oné for the last few years, having tracked him at Hamilton Academical before his move to Sheffield. They've now asked to be kept in the loop with any offers this month.
And those offers could arrive. The interest in Oné is such that the Blades have not ruled out a transfer before the window closes.
