The England international is a phenomenal player on his day. His passing is up there with the best in the world, and his ability on the ball is truly fantastic.
Alexander-Arnold is expected to join Real Madrid this summer on a free transfer after he rejected Liverpool’s offers to tie him down to a new deal.
However, there could be a problem now.
Real Madrid contact another player after a slowdown in talks with Trent Alexander-Arnold
Real Madrid were free to open talks with Alexander-Arnold over a pre-contract at the start of January.
The Galacticos have been in contact with the Liverpool star’s representatives over a deal, but there has not been a breakthrough in negotiations yet.
Reports have revealed that Alexander-Arnold wants wages close to what Jude Bellingham earns at Real Madrid – the Spanish giants’ opening offer to him was nowhere near that figure.
Now, Sky-Sport.ch have revealed that the speed of negotiations have slowed down from Alexander-Arnold’s end, which has made Real Madrid ‘angry’.
The report claims that the Galacticos have turned to Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich as an alternative option if they can’t seal the deal for Alexander-Arnold.
Kimmich, like the Liverpool right-back, will be available on a free transfer this summer.
Real Madrid’s priority, however, is still to reach an agreement to sign Alexander-Arnold, but contact has been made with Kimmich’s people, so that door is open too.

Kimmich has also been linked with Liverpool but there’s a problem
Reports in recent months have claimed that Liverpool are eyeing a move to sign Kimmich from Bayern Munich on a free transfer in the summer.
The German, who can play anywhere in midfield as well as defence would offer a lot of options to Arne Slot, and the fact that he would be available for free makes him a great player to target.
But, sadly for the Reds, there is a problem.
News has emerged that Kimmich would prefer a move to Real Madrid over Liverpool in the summer, which complicates things for Slot’s side.
However, if Real Madrid sign Alexander-Arnold, a move for Kimmich will likely not be on the cards. Liverpool could have a free run at him then.
