Declan Rice joined Arsenal for over £100m, Kai Havertz was a huge signing, while Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori were two very expensive defensive additions.
However, despite all of this spending at the Emirates, Arsenal still need a striker.
Indeed, Arsenal don’t have that clinical number nine to lead their line, but they have had some targets in mind.
Sesko snubbed Arsenal to stay at RB Leipzig in the summer, but, according to Ben Jacobs, speaking on The Done Deal Show, Arsenal still feel they’re in a strong position to sign Sesko.

Arsenal confident they can sign Benjamin Sesko
Jacobs shared what he knows about Sesko and Arsenal’s stance.
The journalist says that Sesko is a big player to keep an eye on, and that the Gunners believed they had won the race to sign the £55mstriker in the summer.
Now, Arsenal believe they are in a very strong position to sign Sesko if he comes onto the market.
“The big one to watch is Benjamin Sesko. Arsenal felt like he had picked them if he was going to leave Leipzig.
“If we was going to leave was he going to pick Arsenal, Chelsea or Man Utd? Arsenal felt they’d won the race against the other suitors, but the player decided it was better to stay at Leipxig and not rush that.
“Now if he’s available on the market again, Arsenal feel they’re in a very strong position there. If Isak, the dream target, becomes unattainable, then there could be a situation where Arsenal turn to Benjamin Sesko, but in the summer. “
Benjamin Sesko compared to Alexander Isak
Arsenal have their eyes on both Sesko and Isak as potential striker options, and these are two very exciting players.
Sesko and Isak are very much cut from the same cloth. They’re strikers who have it all.
Both men are tall, fast and strong, while they have the technical attributes to back it up.
However, if Arsenal had to choose between the two, there’d be no competition.

Simply put, Isak is better than Sesko, he’s scoring more goals at a higher level, and he’s been doing it for a long time now.
There’s a reason Arsenal have been told to sign Isak on so many occasions, he’s exactly the type of striker the north London club need, and he could take Mikel Arteta’s side to the next level.
If Isak is available on the transfer market at any point in the near future, Arsenal need to make sure they’re at the front of the queue to sign the Newcastle star.
