The Serbia international has been a long-term target for the Gunners, and the club were initially keen on signing him from Fiorentina in January 2022.
Vlahovic preferred to stay in Serie A with the Bianconeri, but his future with the Turin giants is uncertain with his contract expiring in June next year.
The 25-year-old’s position is ‘very delicate’ at the Bianconeri. The club could look for a ‘non-significant figure’ at the end of the season, as per Calciomercato.
The Italian outlet claim that he could be prised away for a maximum fee of £33 million.
Arsenal could make fresh approach for Vlahovic
Vlahovic was one of the most sought-after strikers during his time in Florence but has been unable to replicate his performances since his switch to Juventus.
He has 13 goals from just over 2,000 minutes this campaign, but his future is uncertain, having become an unused substitute since Randal Kolo Muani’s arrival on loan.
Juventus are keen to get his £191,000 per week salary off their wage bill, as per Calciomercato.
Arsenal could make a renewed approach for the marksman, who was a top target three years ago.
The Gunners should have no problem in paying his weekly wages, and could also be prepared to meet the reported valuation, given his good attributes.
Vlahovic has impressed with his hold-up play up front. He has a knack of getting into good goalscoring positions in the box, though he has missed some chances.
Arsenal have plans to spend in multiple departments in the summer. We won’t be surprised if they opt to land Vlahovic, who would be a bargain signing at £33m.
