Arsenal's next Premier League fixtures compared to Liverpool after defeat against Nottingham Forest as Liverpool still takes the lead

Arsenal's quest to win the Premier League title continues after another busy weekend of action.

The Gunners moved four points behind Liverpool in the table after their victory over Leicester City on Saturday. Arsenal secured a 2-0 win at the King Power Stadium thanks to a late brace from Mikel Merino.

The win for Mikel Arteta's side put pressure on Liverpool going into their clash against Wolves on Sunday afternoon. The Merseyside club secured a 2-1 win thanks to goals from Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah, although a second-half strike from Matheus Cunha gave Arsenal hope their title rivals could drop points.

The result means that Arsenal are now seven points behind Liverpool after the weekend's fixtures. The gap could be increased again in midweek, with the Reds facing Aston Villa with the Gunners not in action until next weekend against West Ham.
