Eight teams, including three from the Premier League - more than any other country - have already secured their places in the last 16.
Liverpool topped the league phase, winning seven out of their eight matches. Arsenal finished third, only trailing Barcelona on goal difference.
Aston Villa clinched the eighth and final automatic qualification spot in the last 16 with a victory over Celtic on the final day. The draws for the last 16, quarter-finals, and semi-finals will all take place on 21 February.
However, the teams that have already made it to the last 16 know their potential opponents.
Villa triumphed over Celtic 4-2 in the final day in a Battle of Britain. This victory sets up a last-16 clash against either Atalanta, Borussia Dortmund, Sporting Lisbon or Club Brugge.
Sporting are hosting Dortmund in their first leg on Tuesday, while Atalanta are off to Club Brugge on Wednesday evening.
Liverpool, who had an impressive league phase capped off by a win over Real Madrid at Anfield, will face either Paris Saint-Germain, Benfica, Monaco or Brest. PSG and Brest will clash in an all-French play-off, while Monaco will battle Benfica.
Arsenal, who lost only one game in their league phase campaign and finished third, will face either AC Milan, PSV Eindhoven, Feyenoord or Juventus in the last 16, reports the Mirror.
Juve are set to host PSV in their first encounter on Tuesday, while AC Milan will be heading to Feyenoord for their initial leg on Wednesday. The return legs are scheduled for next week, narrowing down Arsenal's potential opponents to just two teams.
