Kane left Spurs in 2023 for a deal worth around £82million after scoring 280 goals for the north Londoners. Since moving to Germany, the 31-year-old has scored a sensational 73 in 72 games.
However, despite settling into life in the Bundesliga rather well, recent reports have linked Kane with a shock return to the Premier League. In the January transfer window, it's understood there was a clause available to be triggered worth £67million.
Now, German publication BILD has reported that the clause will drop to £54m at the start of 2026. Kane is contracted at Bayern until 2027 and has shown no signs of wanting a move anytime soon.
On Friday night, Kane was in action for the first time since the January transfer window closed. The England international scored two goals to make it 28 from 28 appearances this season as they stretched their lead at the top of the Bundesliga with a 3-0 win over Werder Bremen.
After the win, the striker was asked about the speculation and reported clause in his deal. "What I can say is that I'm very happy at FC Bayern," he told Sky Sports Germany. "No comment on the clause."
