The Gunners are expected to sign a new striker this summer after struggling in that area of the pitch this season.
No Arsenal player has reached double figures this term, with injured forward Kai Havertz the club’s top goalscorer with nine in the Premier League.
There were doubts over Havertz’s goalscoring credentials but Arsenal have naturally looked even more toothless in front of goal since the Germany international suffered a serious hamstring injury, ruling him out for the rest of the season.
Arsenal have been linked with the likes of Alexander Isak, Viktor Gyokeres and Victor Osimhen – but up front is not the only area Arteta is keen to strengthen.
