The London giants’ latest accounts revealed their revenue surged from £466.7million to a new club-record figure of £616.6million – marking a 32.1 per cent increase.
Arsenal’s strong financial performance was driven by their return to the Champions League and a significant uplift in commercial income.
Their commercial revenue increased from £169.3million to £218.3million, while broadcast income improved from £191.2million to £262.3million, with matchday rising from £102.6million to £131.7million.
Arsenal recorded a £17.7million loss across the same period, but that was down on their £52.1million deficit for 2022-23.

However, the wage bill at the Emirates increased dramatically from £234.8million to £327.8million last season following the additions of Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber and David Raya.
The accounts showed the club’s highest-paid director, who was not named, saw their annual salary increase by around £630,000 from £1.37million to £2million in 2023-24.
Arsenal’s board is made up of owner Stan Kroenke alongside directors Josh Kroenke, Tim Lewis and Lord Harris of Peckham.

Yossi Benayoun in talks to be Arsenal sporting director
Football Insider revealed on Wednesday (5 March) Yossi Benayoun is in talks with Arsenal about becoming the club’s new sporting director.
The 44-year-old, who played for Chelsea, Liverpool, West Ham and spent one season on loan at the Emirates in 2011-12, spoke to club officials about potentially replacing Edu in the vacant role, but no offer has been made.
Arsenal are close to making a decision on naming their new sporting director following Edu’s departure last November, with a number of high-profile names linked with the role.
Benayoun is currently out of work after leaving his role as sporting director of the Israel national team last March following two successful years in the job.
