Roy Keane and Gary Neville in complete disagreement over Man Utd vs Arsenal prediction, warning sent to ‘talented player’

Roy Keane and Gary Neville could not see eye to eye over who will come out on top between Manchester United and Arsenal in their Premier League clash.

Manchester United return to Premier League action on Sunday and will welcome Arsenal to Old Trafford for a 4:30pm kick-off in the UK.
The Red Devils were in action in Europe on Thursday evening and United settled for a draw with Real Sociedad in their first-leg last-16 Europa League clash in Spain.

United are 14th in the Premier League table under Ruben Amorim and the Red Devils have won two of their last five fixtures in the league ahead of Sunday’s clash.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are 12 places ahead of United in the Premier League table and the Gunners have won three of their last five league matches.

Mikel Arteta’s men arrive at Old Trafford hot on the heels of their 7-1 steamrolling over PSV Eindhoven in their first-leg last-16 Champions League match.

Arsenal have a match in hand over league leaders Liverpool, but the Gunners are 13 points adrift from the Reds in the Premier League title race.

Ruben Amorim’s side, on the other hand, are 16 points clear of the relegation zone and United are 14 points behind fourth-place Manchester City in the top-four race.

Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher’s Man Utd vs Arsenal prediction
Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher teamed up against Roy Keane and Ian Wright for their Premier League predictions for this weekend’s matches.

Speaking on The Overlap, Neville insisted that the Arsenal match is the type of encounter where Manchester United will “turn up” and pick up a result.

“This could finish Arsenal off, this one,” he said.

“This is the type of game [Man] United win. The type of game United turn up in.”

Responding to Keane, Neville added: “How will Arsenal get a goal?”

Neville and Carragher agreed on a 1-1 scoreline at Old Trafford for Sunday’s clash before Keane and Wright made their collective prediction for the match.

What Roy Keane and Ian Wright predicted for Man Utd vs Arsenal
Keane admitted that he expects Arsenal to come out on top and the Irishman took a swipe at United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s cost-cutting amid his prediction.

“No, Arsenal will win,” he said.

“Apparently, they’ve cancelled United’s pre-match meal as well [a dig at Ratcliffe]. Arsenal [win] 2-1.”

Keane then added: “They’re not losing. Arsenal 2-1. I’m going with Arsenal 2-1.”

Keane’s scathing assessment of Bruno Fernandes in recent weeks also led to Neville and Carragher poking fun at how his comments could come back to haunt him.

“I like Bruno,” Keane said, before adding a cheeky wink at the camera.

“He’s a talented player, but talent is not enough.”

Following the Arsenal match on the weekend, United will return to their Europa League campaign for their second-leg tie against Real Sociedad next Thursday.
