ANOTHER INJURY BLOW:‘Out for 6 weeks’ – Bad news for Arsenal man as season looks over

The Estonia international started every league fixture until March’s international break.

Hein picked up an injury in a World Cup qualifier against Israel last month. This forced the Arsenal man to miss the clash against Moldova and the league defeat to Real Sociedad at the weekend.

AS state the stopper underwent tests and Real Valladolid have confirmed that he suffered a ‘grade II acromioclavicular joint injury’. He will ‘out for six weeks’ and this is bad news for the 22-year-old.

Real Valladolid’s last fixture of this season is against CD Leganés on May 25th. Although the Arsenal owned player should recover before this tie, the report suggests he is unlikely to feature again this season.

The newspaper says Hein ‘practically says goodbye’ to this season.

Real Valladolid have conceded 65 goals and have the worse defensive record in La Liga this season. Hein had kept five clean sheets and conceded 63 goals from 28 games.

The Estonia’s contract at the Emirates expires in 2026 and the Gunners will have to make a decision on his future in the summer.
