Arsenal v Brentford early team news hints after Odegaard and Rice double update

Arsenal have hinted that Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard will feature against Brentford despite the expectation of rotation before their Champions League quarter-final second leg versus Real Madrid.
Rice starred at the Emirates Stadium before being withdrawn because of a knock. Mikel Arteta acknowledged afterwards that it was just a kick, confirming during his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon that the midfielder is fit and available for selection after recovering well.

Odegaard, meanwhile, played the full match against his former club. However, he was rested against Everton last weekend, only coming on as a second-half substitute for the final 20 minutes.

Both have featured across the club's social media channels before the Brentford match.

A photo of Rice knee sliding is the background of their next match graphic, with Odegaard the face of their matchday post.

Neither of the players has posted a personalized image on their Instagram story's, but several of their teammates have done so.

Jorginho was the first to share a graphic on Friday night, which details the match's scheduled kick-off time in his native Brazil and adopted homes of England and Italy.

The player was an unused substitute on Tuesday night but started at Goodison Park in place of Thomas Partey.

His fellow midfielder has, however, shared a similar post on Saturday morning after only having a watching brief on Merseyside last weekend.

Raheem Sterling started back in the North West but served a one-match UEFA suspension midweek.

Available again, the winger has posted on Saturday morning hours before the London derby.

So, too, has Leandro Trossard, who replaced Bukayo Saka against Madrid barely a minute before Merino scored the third.

However, after scoring himself last time out in the league during a first start since before the March international break, the forward will hope for another opportunity.
