Astonishment as Liverpool player’s agent asks for €25m a year – Been offered €30m elsewhere

There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Galatasaray have distanced themselves from signing Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker this summer.

The Brazil international has been linked with a move to the Super Lig leaders as they look to sign a replacement for the departing Fernando Muslera.

Fotomac today report on the latest developments regarding Galatasaray’s pursuit for the Liverpool player, and they say the Istanbul club have held meetings with his agent.

However, it’s claimed his agent is demanding a salary of €25m a season from Cimbom and that they are now looking at alternatives. Lyon goalkeeper Lucas Perri is another potential target for Gala.

The Turkish media outlet also reports Alisson has had an offer of €30m from an unnamed Saudi club.

With Giorgi Mamardashvili set to join up with Liverpool in the summer it seems like Alisson could leave Anfield at the end of the season. The Premier League leaders signed the Georgia international last summer from Valencia, but loaned him back to the Spanish club for this season.

Alisson has made 28 appearances this season and is contracted to Liverpool until June 2027.
