On Sunday, Manchester United will make their Premier League comeback when they visit London to play Fulham at Craven Cottage. Since February 2024, United has not lost to Fulham in the Premier League; their last defeat came in 2009, when they had a strong record.
But last season, following a 1-1 draw in the FA Cup’s fifth round, Fulham eliminated United 4-3 on penalties. Following a loss to Arsenal on the first weekend of the new season, Ruben Amorim will be looking to get his United team back into the thick of things.
Contrary to last season, when United struggled against nearly every team they faced, United had demonstrated a significant difference versus Arsenal, had more possession, and had more chances on goal. The victory over Fulham is crucial for United.

United is currently rebuilding, but for things to start to work, the team’s performance must improve this season. Last weekend, United performed admirably against Arsenal at Old Trafford, but they were unfortunate not to win the game. The best was not Arsenal.
Since Fulham has a poor record versus United, Amorim may start trying to get his offensive line to score goals for fun. If he is well enough, Benjamin Sesko will aim to score his first goal for the Old Trafford team on what may be his first start of the season.
The guy who defeats Fulham’s defense, who aren’t the greatest in the league but also not the worst, will probably be Sesko. This summer, United will begin to settle in, and the new players will begin to establish themselves at the Old Trafford club. United, hurry up!
