Man Utd transfer definitely off despite bid being enough to seal deal

In order to make the transfer easier, Rashford later agreed to a 25% cut in his £325,000 weekly salary.

Sancho, who was on loan at Chelsea for the previous season, has drawn interest from Roma, but his £250,000 weekly wage is still an issue. After his successful loan stint, Real Betis is eager to sign Antony, but they are unable to pay the £30 million asking price or his £130,000 weekly salary.

Chelsea is considering Garnacho, but the London team feels that United’s £50 million asking price is too much.

In the meantime, clubs in Germany, Italy, and Holland are taking notice of Malacia.

Sancho’s ties at Old Trafford are “completely broken,” according to the transfer guru’s new statement.

As a result, United is receiving inquiries, and Roma has made them the best offer thus far.

The Serie A team extended a loan with a £20 million conditional purchase commitment. The circumstances that would lead to the permanent relocation were almost certain to materialize.

Man Utd said that they would accept the offer, and that the winger’s miserable tenure in England would end if Sancho and Roma could reach a personal agreement.

However, the player side was unable to reach a consensus. Some publications have blamed Sancho’s excessive salary demands, while others have pointed to his agent allegedly asking for a €10 million commission to help close the deal.

Whatever the situation, it is certain that Sancho will not be joining Roma, even if Gazzetta dello Sport said earlier this week that the agreement might be resurrected.

“Sancho is a strong player, who was linked with all the Italian clubs,” according to Football Italia, which cited Frederic Massara, Roma’s director of football.

“It is only a suggestion at this time because it doesn’t appear that there are the proper circumstances or, more importantly, the drive to continue these negotiations.”

Transfer guru Romano claimed that Sancho was the reason behind the lack of “motivation” to complete a deal when he shared those statements on X. To put it another way, Sancho, not Manchester United, has ruined the deal.

Romano wrote: “AS Roma director Massara confirms there are no changes since Monday since Jadon Sancho’s rejection.”

So… what now for Jadon Sancho?

Sancho has plenty of suitors, but as previously stated, Roma was the team that made the most attractive offer from Manchester United’s point of view, and Sancho is not going to the Italian capital.

While a return to Borussia Dortmund cannot be ruled out, Serie A rivals Inter Milan are considering a move.

Another team that has expressed interest in Sancho is Besiktas, a Turkish team, if his future continues to drag.

The Turkish transfer window is typically open for a lot longer than most others in Europe.
