It must be an anxious wait for Alejandro Garnacho to find out if he’ll be joining Chelsea.
Alejandro Garnacho, a 21-year-old winger for Manchester United, has been strongly linked to a move to Stamford Bridge during the summer transfer window. Can the Blues complete the transaction before the deadline on Monday?
Everybody at Chelsea admires Garnacho’s statistics, and the club’s directors all want to sign him.
Chelsea reportedly waited for additional sales before formally pursuing the Manchester United attacker. It appears that Garnacho and Chelsea have an agreement in place, so the Premier League teams will have to complete the trade during talks.
Positive update as Chelsea reach agreement for Alejandro Garnacho
Chelsea and Manchester United have reportedly reached a “broad agreement” for Garnacho’s permanent move, according to CaughtOffside.
Although the deal is still not entirely finalized, it has made progress in the past several days. As the Blues continue to try to sell more people this summer, it is known that there are still some last-minute things to work out.
According to the article, it is believed that Chelsea and Manchester United will agree on a deal that is around £50 million, including add-ons.
Supporters should be pleased by Garnacho’s obvious desire to play for Enzo Maresca’s team, since he has turned down teams in the Saudi Pro League and Bayern Munich in favor of joining Chelsea. Hopefully, the Argentine speedster can secure his move in the next few days.
Garnacho has informed his buddies that he would be joining Chelsea this summer, so it would be devastating if the deal falls through at the last minute.
Alejandro Garnacho will cost more than Liam Delap
This frantic summer transfer window has already seen Chelsea make some bold acquisitions, particularly in the attacking areas.
When the Blues activated Liam Delap’s release clause at Ipswich Town in June, they spent £30 million (Sky Sports) to sign the striker. Given how much quality and potential the 22-year-old forward possesses, it unquestionably appears to be excellent value.
If the aforementioned rumors are accurate, Chelsea will have to pay a lot more to acquire Garnacho, a talent from Manchester United.
To be fair, since making his debut in the first squad at Old Trafford a few years ago, Garnacho has demonstrated that he is capable of handling himself at the greatest level. In 144 senior Man Utd appearances, he has scored 26 goals and provided 22 assists.
We’re actually pretty confident that he can live up to a £50m deal because the touchline winger should suit Maresca’s system.
