Real Madrid are willing to pay a ‘record’ amount to sign a Manchester United star as the club’s transfer plans have emerged in a new report.
Real signed Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dean Huijsen, Alvaro Carreras and Franco Mastantuono during the summer transfer window.
They spent around £150 million on their new signings but have further recruitments in mind.
That’s according to Spanish outlet E-Noticieswho claim Real are eyeing a move for Kobbie Mainoo, with chief scout Juni Calafat planning to keep tabs on him in the coming months.
A fee in the region of £70-80 million would represent as a record academy graduate sale for Man United, with Alejandro Garnacho the current record at £40 million following his transfer to Chelsea.
