Sources: Man United duo could make surprise Deadline Day transfer as another deal falls through

Manchester United goalkeepers Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir are both understood to be attracting interest from Galatasaray on Deadline Day.

After missing out on Ederson, Onana and Bayindir are both being seriously considered at Galatasaray, according to sources with ties to the agency sector who spoke to CaughtOffside.

Galatasaray is currently considering alternative options as the Brazilian goalkeeper is expected to go from Manchester City to Fenerbahce.

Additionally, Senne Lammens is still a possibility for the Red Devils, and Manchester United is increasing their interest in Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.

It’s unclear exactly how this will all work out with the transfer window with a few hours remaining.

Andre Onana could be among late departures for Manchester United

According to CaughtOffside, Jadon Sancho and Antony are both anticipated to depart, therefore United anticipates making some late transactions today.

Additionally, a last-minute decision regarding the team’s goalkeepers will be made based on the progress of the Martinez and Lammens deals during the next several hours.

According to sources, a final choice about United’s backup goalkeeper has not yet been made.

“Offers for Onana and Bayindir are being seriously considered by Galatasaray,” a reliable source told CaughtOffside.

Onana’s wage demands, however, may prove to be a major roadblock, according to several sources, with Bayindir possibly being viewed as the more practical choice.

United need an upgrade on Andre Onana

It would make sense for Onana to depart the team today because he has been incredibly poor while he has been at Old Trafford.

However, it’s also possible that he will continue to serve as a backup for the new number one goalie, with Bayindir potentially leaving.

Although it might not be a good idea for MUFC to let both players leave, it makes sense to sell at least one of them.

Fans will undoubtedly hope that this can all be settled in the coming hours because Martinez appears to be the perfect replacement for Onana as Ruben Amorim’s starting goalie.
