This summer, Manchester United had to make important choices on players who were cut from Ruben Amorim’s roster.
Marcus Rashford, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, and Jadon Sancho were among them, and it appears that they will finally be able to find a solution for everyone.
Garnacho has moved permanently to Chelsea, Antony and Sancho are getting close to leaving, and Rashford has gone on loan to Barcelona.
Aston Villa, a Premier League team, has agreed to recruit Jadon Sancho on a loan for the remainder of the season, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg.
There have been rumors that Villa will pay United an undisclosed loan fee in exchange for Sancho. Additionally, they will be paying 80% of his income, which should come to about £200,000 a week given that he now makes about £250,000 a week at Manchester United. Therefore, Manchester United has agreed to pay £50,000 each week.
Third loan spell on the trot – Is this finally the end?
Sancho will be leaving Manchester United on loan for the third time in a row. He had a great time at Borussia Dortmund, a mixed experience at Chelsea, and is now looking forward to what Aston Villa has in store for him. He will have the opportunity to compete at the greatest level, which is a bright spot.
Sancho’s contract with Manchester United expires in 2026, and if Villa and the Red Devils cannot come to a deal or have a buyout clause, the Englishman will have to return to Old Trafford next summer, where his future appears to be virtually sealed.
Man Utd may have hoped to allow Sancho to sign a long-term contract this summer.
The Englishman can play as an aggressive midfielder or winger, and Unai Emery might gain from having his innovative presence in the team.
The new season has not started off nicely for Villa. When healthy and productive, Sancho can make a significant contribution to the Midlands club. He is a very unreliable player to rely on, though, because of his inconsistent play.
The next few hours should see this deal go through, provided Sancho passes his medical. Let’s wait and see if this is the last Man Utd fans have to see of the Englishman or if the saga repeats itself next summer.
