Amorim to make 3 big decisions: How Man Utd could line up (3-4-2-1) vs Fulham

Later today, Manchester United will go to Fulham with the goal of winning their first Premier League game.

Before the match, manager Ruben Amorim is probably going to make several changes after the team’s 1-0 loss to Arsenal in the Old Trafford curtain-raiser.

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Predicted Line-up:

Due in part to Altay Bayindir’s mistake, the Gunners took the lead. He ought to have been more ready for the box’s tangible component.

We firmly believe that Andre Onana will start in goal again against the Cottagers.

It might be the same back three from the narrow loss to the Gunners in front of him.

On the day, Leny Yoro and Matthijs de Ligt were outstanding in their aerial sparring and easily defeated Viktor Gyokeres, a recent addition to Arsenal.

Luke Shaw impressed with his link-up play with Patrick Dorgu and was a wonderful complement to the pair.

We expect a change at the other end, with Amad Diallo replacing Diogo Dalot at right wing-back. Dorgu should remain at left wing-back.

Fulham might not have the same attacking danger with Antonee Robinson’s overlapping runs on the left wing now that he has recovered from surgery.

Therefore, we would choose Amad over Dalot since he is more aggressive and active.

It doesn’t seem like a change is necessary in midfield. Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro are ready to hold onto their spots following Mikel Arteta’s team’s most recent loss.

Amorim said that Casemiro was among the best players in the Arsenal match, which should guarantee him a spot in the number six position ahead of Manuel Ugarte.

After arriving last weekend, Ugarte was anxious and lost possession multiple times. The Uruguayan might make another appearance off the bench.

Amorim has an easy choice to make in the last third. Starting from the attacking midfield positions are Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.

The two were unfortunate not to score after having outstanding debut performances against Arsenal.

Up top, Benjamin Sesko ought to make his full debut. Despite Mason Mount’s strong performance against Arsenal, Sesko must start as the primary striker because he was brought in to score the goals.
