There is said to be ‘growing tension’ between Ruben Amorim and Manchester United’s Director of Football, Jason Wilcox.
According to Ben Jacobs, the INEOS chief wants Amorim to be more ‘tactically adaptable’ amid continued turbulent and inconsistent form, with United most recently dropping points to newly-promoted Leeds United earlier this afternoon.
Amorim discouraged by lack of action in winter market
From Amorim’s point of view, he is ‘disappointed’over the owners’ lack of ambition now that the January window has opened. No major incomings are expected at Old Trafford this month, and he is navigating a depleted squad amid AFCON and injury absences.
